Look Of The Month | March

Hey there lovely people of the internet! Happy Easter to you, I hope that you've had a lovely one!
I'm sharing with you my look of the month from March. I like to play around sometimes with my daily makeup look and the one that I have worn the most through the last month is this one.
I discovered the pro base primer this month which was recommended to me by a work friend and I now don't like the way my makeup rests on my face without it! As you all know, I'm a sucker for good products at a bargain price, and this is another of those! Go and pick it up from Superdrug and give it a go. Matched with my favourite liquid foundation to base this look is perfection! I have gone for a thinner eyeliner wing for this months look using my absolute favourite liquid eyeliner from Collection 2000, this thinner eyeliner paired with my all time favourite mascara from Clinique is something which I have really loved the past month. It makes my eyelashes really stand out and, yep you know how much I love my eyes! I have matched this eye look with a brilliant newly discovered lip product - maybelline colour drama. I use it in this look in the 'keep it classy' shade. I have fallen head over heels in love with this lip product. The shades are really lovely, this one being my favourite so far and the intensity of the colour is really daring but I think easy to get away with. It's so easy to just put on and it matches pretty well to any outfit - it also lasts pretty long during the day which is a bonus!
As always part of my daily makeup routine I have to have my stay matte powder from Rimmel. I use the warm beige colour as this is just one shade up from my ivory foundation and I feel that it just gives me that little bit of extra colour as well as a really great matte finish, just as it says! I have used it for years and will continue to do so in my daily routine I trust in it way too much now! I should probably really give something new a try... Hey if you can recommend any pressed powders that you're using at the moment, let me know!
To top this look I have been using a slightly lighter blusher than normal as we are edging closer to the summer months, I think it's appropriate to bring out the lighter shades. As you can tell in the photo I have had this blusher product for a while now, I do really like it when I have it on but I just don't seem to use it that often. I have been with this look though as I feel that it contrasts well to the darker lip shade.
Thanks for stopping by!
Until next time,

Favourite Finds!

Howdy there! Thanks for joining me. I'm sharing with you my favourite finds from this month. I have done a lot of shopping on Depop and browsing round thrift shops and  I've had a really successful month on the shopping front, so I thought: What better way to celebrate my shopping success than to blog about it...

My first find are these adorable pumps. I have been after some black pumps for ages just to go with everything and the last pair I had got ruined at a foam party and it's taken me this long to finally replace them with these beauties. These were from a seller on Depop for £8.00. At first I thought they were a tiny bit small, devastation was kicking in... however once I wore them in for a day they were fine. I love them and although brought second hand they are in great condition - Brill!
Another Depop find in the form of this absolutely beautiful skirt! I have seen this on Ark for ages and vouched to myself that I would buy it on payday. However before payday came, I was browsing on Depop and happened to stumble upon it, my size and a fraction of the price.. if that's not meant to be then I don't know what is! So I grabbed it and I LOVE it, I basically wear it all the time now and the colours are great to go with pretty much anything, what more can a girl ask for?!
I have saved my favourite for last! I have been after a little black shoulder bag after my last one broke in the madness of Malia! Anyway it's taken me a while to finally get one that I liked and it was in the shape of this beautiful Topshop find in my local charity shop. As soon as I spotted it in the window I had to have it and at a mere £6, it couldn't have been anymore perfect. I love the way there are a combination of different materials and the chain strap detail gives it that Channel-esque classic look which is why this is my favorite find this month!

And that concludes my finds, I wanted to share my love for them with you and I hope you enjoyed reading. Have you got any bargain finds this month that you're dying to share? Comment and let me know!

Thanks for stopping by.
Until next time,

Review | Tresemme Keratin Smooth Deep Treatment Masque

Today I thought I would bring something new and a little different to my blog. I have be reading so many beauty blogs recently and taking loads of inspiration I wanted to do a review of one of my better beauty finds over the past couple of months.

It has been a mini resolution of mine to take better care of my hair. With it being so unmanageable (you can read all about that here) it is a hassle trying to take good care of it as well as making it look good without using all the heat of the straighteners! The way I manage my hair now is to have regular hair appointments to have my ends chopped and what not, and now using this fantastic masque along with treatment shampoos and religiously using heat protection spray! I tend to only use the masque once a week at the moment as I don't tend to wash my hair that often with it being so thick. I find if I use this masque too often that it makes my hair feel a bit greasy after the wash.
I absolutely love the smell of this product as I do with all Tresemme items and I find that the smell tends to last quite a while which is great! I love getting whiffs of the scent at little points in the day.
The directions of use suggest leaving this on for 3-5 minutes although I have found leaving this on for slightly longer works better for my hair with it being so thick. The first time I did use it though I had really good results after only leaving it for around 3 1/2 minutes.
Another great point about this is I only paid £3.00 for it as it was on offer in Superdrug at the time! But even without that, the price is great for the quality of the product. I am all about great quality on a budget and this ticks all the right boxes.
If you're looking for a budget hair treatment, I would definitely recommend this one. I saw great results within a couple of uses and I still use it once a week on my hair to keep it as healthy looking as possible.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed and if you have had any experiences with this product let me know, good or bad I would love to hear about it!
Lots of love,

10 Things About Me!

Good evening dearest ones. It's Thursday *I know it's totally not Thursday, this is when I drafted this post hoping that I would also be really productive and post it at the same time... as you can now see, this did not haappen...*, I hope you're all having a great week with what ever delights you might be up to.

I'm coming to you with something different tonight. I have been blogging for a while now and I suddenly thought that you guy's don't really know much about me at all. So after a couple of notes to try and actually think of something interesting to write about myself  - this post was born.

So here goes, here are 10  things that you may not know about me.

1. I am a twin, my twin is a brother and he's probably my favourite person in my life (apart from D).
He's also a bit of a thing on youtube, check out his channel here: sebmiling

2. I have 2 tattoos, one of a bumble bee on my lower back and 1 little squigle on my foot.

3. I am an absolute hopeless romantic and I am easily won over with chocolate and flowers.

4. I have a cat called Tommy, whom I brought and then told my parents I found him in a box so that we could keep him... they still don't know the truth! - Oops!

5. I am in love with nature and the great outdoors. If I could become a hippy and live in the woods at one with nature, I probably would.

6. Food is quite possibly my favourite thing. I look forward to the parts in the day that I know I am going to be eating.
any excuse to get a LOTR gif in!

7. I have very dark brown eyes which my mother calls my reindeer eyes, they are my favourite thing about myself.

8. I'm a bit obsessed with all thing LOTR/The Hobbit. I think I've lost count of how many times I have sat down with my brother and just watched one of these films. Thank you to my wonderful boyfriend for introducing me to the wonder that is these fabulous films.

9. I have to be wearing nail varnish at all times. Even if it's chipped or peeling. At least it's still there. I have actually just done them tonight as I am writing this post.
have a lovely picture of my newly painted nails!

10. I would rather spend a night in, with a really great film, a bottle of wine and my man snuggled up next to me than go out on the lash. Soppy I know and I actually don't even like the fact that this is what a prefer but I have tried to deny if for too long now, this is the truth and I can't hide it any longer.

And there we have it. I don't even know if these points are actually anything interesting about me but, some of them are not things that I share too often so, go you!

So, you know more about me, I would LOVE to get to know more of you. Leave me some comments with some random facts about yourself, I would love to share some more with you.

Until next time my lovelies.

Lots of love,

February Favourites

Hello lovelies! First of all, i know what you're thinking. Yes I know we're in March now but we're only at the beginning and I meant to post this earlier and surprise, surprise - I didn't get round to it.
I have been crushing on 3 products through February, so much so that they have potentially changed my life in the beauty world forever! Or at least until I find something else.
First and foremost, I have been totally jumping on the eyebrow band wagon. I have never been one for drawing on my brows or any of that, I just pluck the hell out of them and hope they look alright - I also dye my hair a lot and they are so differently coloured to my hair now it's getting embarrasing therefore when I stumbled upon Makeup Revolution,  I just couldn't miss the opportunity to try out drawing my eyebrows on.
I absolutely love the medium dark pallet as I feel this is the best that matches the colour of my brows and blends well with the colour or my hair also. It comes with a diagonal brush for application and also some mini tweezers which are actually great and it comes with a gel as you can see in the bottom lefy hand corner of the pallet photo.  I love to use this when I'm going out for the extra security that my brows aren't going to smudge off through the night!
If you're looking for a great brow pallet on a budget, I really recommend this one.
Another February favourite of mine is this Clinique anti blemish liquid makeup. This is probably my favourite beauty product of all time. I used to use this when I was younger when my acne was at it's worst and I fell in love with it then. I only just started using it again as it is a little more pricy than my usual day to day makeup. I'm so glad I decided to get back to it though, I have never known a liquid foundation that covers my belmishes quite like this one does. Not only does it provide flawless coverage but it's also really light so I don't feel like I've caked my face in loads of rubbish.
If you, like me are an acne sufferer or just have some belmishes that you're wanting to hide but can't find anything that is doing the trick, I really suggest you try this one. Once you've used it, you will never want to go back.
I have saved my fave Feb favourite until last. My best discovery.
Dry shampoo is my best friend, with my hair being so thick I can't wash it too much as it goes very dry and it is too much to manage - here's where the dry shampoo comes in. I always just brought batiste original as this is just force of habit that I have brought for years. However this February I decided to try something different. This dark brown dry shampoo was the result and I love it! I was so sick of the faint white powder that the original always left behind but this does none of that. It is so refreshing to my hair and you don't even notice that it's dry shampoo in it - Fabulous! You need to get on this if you have dark hair - it's a god send.
I hope you have enjoyed reading my favourites, let me know what you have been loving the last month!
Thanks for reading, lots of love.
